What is 'colord-sane'?

What is 'colord-sane'? My search yielded lots of references to it, and problems, but no description or function.

Possibly.

selinux complained about it trying to do something. I had Irfanview (wine) and digiKam running at the time.

With the system freshly booted to a KDE desktop, /usr/libexec/colord-sane is running.

selinux also complained about wine at the time. I told it wine was OK and selinux is quiet for now.

Thanks.

I may have a configuration issue.
I used the link supplied, but I get the same page I get without the '/webhp?hl=all'.
When I enter 'Keyword=...' I get matches for 'color', but none for 'colord', and the resultant search is all about problems.
I use Firefox and NoScript, but nothing is blocked.
