what do I need to play .3g2 files on linux?

Does anyone know what I would need to play .3g2 files on linux? I know that .3g files are the video format that the new 3G phones use. I also know that the new quicktime player for windows plays these files, but haven't found anything that would play these files in linux. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would be helpful if you could tell us what programs you have tried. The one program I would say try would be mplayer. It plays just about anything, Quicktimes included. I have never tried it with that format though.

Better late than never....

And since this blog is still showing early on search results, some updated info:
1. Rename .3g2 file to .mp4 and save (i.e. from movie.3g2 to movie.mp4)
2. Open with mp4 player (I use VLC).
