website problem


Hi,

i have on my network two web server, i do port forwarding on the firewall to router port 80 traffic to server a and port 443, 8080 to server b.

The problem is that a intranet web application on server b cannot login user

when user click login it go to http://abc.example.com:8080/login.php

but after user enter the username password it got

https://abc.example/login.php

and display page not found message


how can i solve this problem?

Is the form submitting to an absolute URL? If so, what is that URL?

my network have only one public ip, there is two server i want to be accessible from the outside. server a host www.example.com and server b hosting abc.example.com can both server be accessed without port forwarding at the firewall?

You'd need both of them to be port forwarded. You could forward port 8080 on the firewall to one of the computers, and port 80 to the other, to make both of them accessible.
