there is a command called "wget" but you have to invoke it in the command line. it is powerful since you can also download things from ftp servers. to make it easier to use you can also write a script
#! /bin/sh
wget <the site>

There's quite a number of GUI programs for this task, some of which are simply a front-end to wget. Search SourceForge for wget based GUI applications and you'll find loads.
For a sample have a look at Gwget or Wgetter

I've downloaded the windows version to check it out (no internet in linux for the moment). Don't like the way it wants to put everything into seperate folders, but I suppose that's just a matter of configuring it correctly. Also miss the browse function when you're not downloading anything. Again, must have a closer look.
