Weather widget

Have installed new 7.04 Ubuntu and have 'kweather' widget working fine in the KDE desktop.

I would like to know if it possible to have the same (or equivalent) widget working in Gnome (1.2.18) desktop? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Xian & Mitchel7man for your suggestions.
I found by shear accident and right clicked on the bottom bar, selected 'ADD TO PANEL' then 'Weather Report' got my local town and the current weather report working fine (no forecast). (the KDE display gives slightly better displaye) I gather then that these applets are different under the two desktops.

Then I tried 'Applications' 'Add/Remove' searched and applied 'gdesklets' (no 'adesklets' found yet). They installed no problem and are found under Applications, Accessories. Sadly they all failed to retrieve the weather for Tokyo (default) or London. I will search again and find how to get a reminder for the weather URL to insert for my location.

Your help most appreciated

Here are the codes for the gDesklet weather app:

Code:
Tokyo - AXX0085
London - UKXX0085
To get this info, go to weather.com, enter the city you're looking for, when the results are posted, click on the correct choice, and the info appears in the address bar....

cheers,

Thanks, Mrclisdue,
I have entered the following into the 'Direct url' in the config box.

http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/UKXX0113.html

http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...local/UKXX0113

regretably both give a 'Failed' result. How did you enter the location code?
