Moved: This thread is more suitable in Programming and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

From GTK reference http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.../GtkEntry.html
Quote:
gtk_entry_set_alignment ()

void gtk_entry_set_alignment (GtkEntry *entry,
gfloat xalign);

Sets the alignment for the contents of the entry. This controls the horizontal positioning of the contents when the displayed text is shorter than the width of the entry.

entry : a GtkEntry
xalign : The horizontal alignment, from 0 (left) to 1 (right). Reversed for RTL layouts

Since 2.4
There's also an example code to make all input intro upper case here: http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2...kEditable.html
You can easily change it to remove all non-numeric characters.
