WARNING **: AT-SPI: Could not obtain desktop path or name

What does this error mean? transmission-gtk returns it. Is it looking for a 'desktop', such as KDE or Gnome, neither of which I have? It seems to work.

Hi:

I looked the error up online.
It's a settings daemon error. Sorry I've never seen this before.

Look in your X session log and see if there are any errors.
If your DE is running ok I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not worried. Possibly transmission-gtk doesn't do something it could.

In that case I can't help you unless you have a DE installed.

Maybe read through the dmesg log and see if there are any Warnings or Errors that need to be addressed.
