Hello Linux and vsftpd users,
first the info
---------------------------------
Debian 3.1 Sarge
Vsftpd 2.0.3 or 4? (1 week old..)
no X just bash...
mounting points:
/ =has debian (4GB) (want only debian on this mounting)
/server = for data up-download (16GB)
---------------------------------
i've always chrooted users of vsftpd to there home dir but this time i want it to go to /server/vsftpd/users.
on the gentoo form i found that chroot must be enabled in the vsftpd.conf (duh)
and there must be a list of the user too chroot and in the vsftpd.chroot_list i should put this:
user1=/server/vsftpd/users/user/
guess what it didn't work tryed other tricks with this but nope.
i looked in the man page of vsftpd but no lead about this chrooting style.
questions
------------------------------------
1)is this possible with vsftpd?
2)if so how to do it?
------------------------------------
Thanks and greets from Holland <--- (explains the bad english
)
