I am new att this, i hope you can understand my question.
I am trying to get rid of my windows ws to switch to linux. And my choice is suse 9.1 pro. But to get some jobs done I have to run other os on this machine and I am trying to use vmware 4.5.2 build 8848 for linux. But my problem is that it isn't working. I have a fresh install of suse 9.1 and i have run the yast automatic update.
When I try to configure vmware I get this message.
I have been online for searching howto but no succes. Can someone help me, please.....

i am sorry i could not figure out the error message properly as it is on some language i cannot understand.
Anyway, is there is a compiler error, I think you have to install kernel and c headers for the compiler to go on smoothly.
Also make sure you have installed developement tools packages also like gcc, perl, tcl etc.
Best of luck

Solution
I found a recipe on http://www.vmware.com/community/thre...=8112&tstart=0
I'll have 2 go through the same process, so let me know if it worked for you.
