suse 9 and vmware

Hi,

I just set up a monster-laptop (3.06GHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, 17", Keyboard with num-block(!), etc.) with SuSE9 (with 8.2 some hardware didn't work...) and installed vmware. Everything o.k. so far.
But now I tryed to make a vmware session with W2K. vmware starts, accesses the CD, installation starts, BUT when W2K formats the virtual HDD, it crashes (not only W2K - vmware too).

Does s.o. know this problem?!?

Hmmm... It might be a memory conflict. Try doing this. Boot up with Win2k in safe mode off of the cd. Manually format the virtual HDD, reboot VMWare, and try the re-install.
