Ok well today I installed vmware 4.5 for Linux for I can get my Mac OS X to run. Well I installed Vmware perfect. Its just when I go to do its config file like it says to do I get permission denied and same when I go to run Vmware its self. Here is what I get:
Code:
adam@ip68-228-229-136:/usr/bin> su
Password:
ip68-228-229-136:/usr/bin # perl vmware-config.pl
Making sure services for VMware Workstation are stopped.
sh: /etc/init.d/vmware: Permission denied
Unable to stop services for VMware Workstation
Execution aborted.
ip68-228-229-136:/usr/bin # vmware
bash: /usr/bin/vmware: Permission denied
ip68-228-229-136:/usr/bin #
and tell us what the results are? Also, unless you have an x86 developer version of OS X, you'll not be able to run it under VMWare since it emulates x86 processors, not Power PCs.
Ok I got it to do perl vmware-config.pl I had to chmod 777 vmware in /etc/init.d/vmware. Well now when I do its agree to its rules and crap when I get to the bottom I cant do any thing. I dont see any thing to accept it. it likes stops on me.
