Using multi screen in red Hat

I downloaded the "screen" program which allows multi pseudo screens on a VT100 terminal. Enter "screen" at the prompt and you get a new one. Problem is, how do you switch between screens. When I used SCO, there was a program called "Multi-screen which allowed a combination of keys with the function keys to work between multiple sessions. ANyone familiar with this program? DO I have the right program?

YES, you do have the right program.

I donīt whant to be an angry bitch but i really think you should read the man pages.

But as a quick howto:

start a new "session" ctrl + a + c
switch forward ctrl + a + space
switch back ctrl + a + backspace
detach ctrl + a + d
attach screen -r

re: Man Pages

No offense taken and thank you very much for answering. I DID check the man pages but for some reason it was loaded with "?"'s floating around and incomplete words so that I really could not make too much sense out of it, especailly when we are talking about 3 specific keys which must be used and whose identity is essential to proper use.

Which might bring us to a new question perhatps: I read the page using the command "man screen". The output was as described above. WHat should I use to read man pages?
