Arrow Upgrading kernal by patch


hello

how to upgrade kernal by patch, like if i have 2.4.7-10 and i want to upgrade it by patch to 2.4.16 , then i will have to install all patches between these 2 versions or directly can be install last one.

and what si proper way to updrade kernal by patch

why dont you just compile a new kernel. i suggest 2.6.3 or 2.6.4. they are fun

i have ti install dvb card driver and driver just suport upto kernal version 2.4.18.
any way is it possible to upgrade 2.4.10 kernal directly to 2.6.4.

this also usually results in faster performance
