Unreal Tournament 2003 run error


i installed the whole program fine into my home dir in a folder called ut2003_demo , to execute it, i go into that foler and type ./ut2003_demo which is the name of the file to make it run, and it just says
Couldn't run Unreal Tournament 2003 (ut2003-bin). Is UT2003_DATA_PATH set? what is this data path they speak of and how do i set it, thanks!

Try typing (ut2003_demo). Without the (./).

If you're in KDE use your shell console and type ut2003_demo.

Let me know if this works. I'm a total newb. :-)

it dont wotk, and i already tried it, and it dont work because it is not a valad bash command to do that, and it has nothing telling it what to do with the name of the file

edit you .bash_profile or .bashrc in your home dir and this .....

UT2003_DATA_PATH=/usr/local/games/ut2003_demo/System export UT2003_DATA_PATH

All in the same line..

Than envoke your profile by typing ". .bash_profile"
