Unknown error when starting application

Hy. I get the following errors when I try to start cadence. This seems to happen only under my Fedora Core 6 system. What could be wrong? Thanks.

if it runs ok its no big deal.
qt4 and x11 are not getting along so well yet.
it may have to do with the underlying rotocols involving x and commnications with the window managers.
writing gui apps for Linux has always been a process of fudging and hedging.

Another thing to try is disabling Composite Extensions by adding:

to your xorg.conf file. I don't know if this will help or not, but I got the same exact error running K/Ubuntu Edgy(6.10) and Fiesty(7.04). I found out that Composite extensions were enabled by default starting with K/Ubuntu version Edgy (6.10) and later.

This is a common problem. Try to add this line in ~/.bashrc or run it every time you start your cadence IC610:

export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1

this solve your prob ,
