Hi,

On Our unix(IRIX 64) NFS server server some people are able to login the server but some are not able to do so..
How to solve this problem,,, Pls help me.

You need a lot more detail.

You say it is an NFS server so why are people logging into it? Are you saying that some people can't mount from it rather than log into it?

If in fact you mean they can't login what exactly is happening when they try to login? Does it prompt for login? Prompt for password? What message do they get?

Have you verified the user is in /etc/passwd?

Have you tried doing su to the user from the root account?

Have you verified they're not using upper case letters when it should be lower case (or vice-versa)?

There are many possible causes and the above only touches on a few of the more obvious ones.
