unable to include library path in linux.

hello frens can any one tell me wt this command telling and hw to include this path in detail .plz

Next step is to link LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable by giving following commands: (if
you are using ‘sh’ or ‘bash’ – as in my case).
%export LD-LIRARY-PATH=/home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/bin
%export LD-LIRARY-PATH=/home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/lib
%export TCL-LIRARY=/home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/tcl8.4.11/library
OR (if you are using ‘cshrc’)
%setenv LD-LIRARY-PATH /home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/bin
%setenv LD-LIRARY-PATH /home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/lib
%setenv TCL-LIRARY /home/raja/NS2/ ns-allinone-2.34/tcl8.4.11/library

None of the above is required in Linux. ( Usually.)
Also impossible to do if you have more than one version of ns-allinone-2.xx.

The binary 'ns' is hard coded to know where its libraries are located.

Actions to have ns in a system PATH :
cd ns-allinone-2.34/ns-2.34/
su ( or sudo )
make install
.... And 'ns' will be copied to /usr/local/bin/.
( The same 'make install' can be done with nam.)

.
