Embedded Linux include library paths problem

I am trying to get a basic USB program running on a Freescale PowerPC (MPC8315E) microprocessor which is failing to compile. The complier complains about undefined references to various libusb functions such as usb_init() and usb_find_busses () that are prototyped in usb.h.

I think this is due to the library and/or include paths being setup wrong.

Setup
====
Host: x86 running Fedora 8, 2.6.25-9.40
Slave: PowerPC MPC8315E

Developing using Eclipse / GCC tool chain.

I have got the cross complier / debugger working and running a hello world application.

I can find usb.h in a number of locations on the host machine but I am assuming that one of the copies viewable on the NFS mapped rootfs is the correct one.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Lightbulb Sorted it

Solved it

I was pointing the linker at the correct library search path (-L /usr/lib) but hadn't specified the actual library to use (-l usb)

Easy when you know how !
