i want to connect my acer aspire laptop to umax usb tv tuner.which driver should i download how?
Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. Since you don't give us ANY details (model of laptop? Version/distro of Linux? Model of the Umax tuner?), tell us what you've done/tried, etc., we can tell you nothing.
My laptop model is Acer aspire v5 having Ubuntu 16.04 version and model of umax TV tuner is 14-1406-UTS80802
Ok, but there is NOTHING related to that model of UMAX tuner, at all that I can find.
Again, you need to find the model and look at the specs to find the chipset. From there, go to the link provided, and it should tell you whether or not it's supported, and if so, how to get it to work.
Sorry, but are you not reading what I'm posting??? **YOU** need to look up your chipset, and look on the page sent to you previously.
And again, there IS NO SUCH "TV Tuner 8"...nothing, anywhere, related to that. Look at your manual and if you can't find it online, we sure can't either. Without knowing the chipset there is *NO WAY* to guess as to what it'll take to get it working. And as you were asked before, what have you already done/tried to get this working???
