Question Turning Off Tabs Highlighting In Kate


I'm using Kate to edit a load of source, and I find the way that it highlights tabs with a dot both distracting and irritating. I also don't seem to be able to find an option to turn it off. Any suggestions?

under settings ->configure kate->editor->editing, unselect "show tabs"
