kate for windows?
I really like using Kate at home on my linux boxes. Here at work, however, I am stuck on a windows box. My boss wont let me format, no matter how hard I beg. Is there an equivlant to Kate? Ideally something that knows what kinda file that you're using (php, perl, whatever) and highlights it according to the kate highlighting scheme. :-D

I don't think so. There's a very nice editor, however, written in Java that could be configured to work exactly like kate. I think you could give it a try at least
