Turn .AVI 90 degrees?
I made a few videos with my digital camera. They're in .AVI format. I had to make the video with the camera turned 90 degrees (so it was a tall shot, not wide). I figured it would be easy to get some editing program to rotate the .AVI 90 degrees so it can be viewed properly.

Yeah, yeah, I know I left myself vulnerable to the packs of smartasses prowling the net.
Seriously, I know there must be a program out there that'll do it. I can do it under Windows (yuck!), but I'm trying my best to avoid dual-booting and gradually turning to the dark side.
/me ponders if he should have turned it to the left instead, as he might have left you with the video upside down. :-D\
Dun feel bad though. I used to put ebooks into the wide, sideways format so the whole page would fit, then tip the laptop on its side and prop it up like a bood so I could read it... lol

I managed to fix the problem quite easily. Downloaded VirtualDub for Windows, rebooted into the Evil Empire, and fixed my video like that. If it wasn't for a couple things like this (and copying DVDs), I would be able to trash Windows forever.
Caeda... that's really funny about the e-books... you really need a tablet pc!
I actually managed to read through Conan Doyle's Lost World on my Handspring Visor. I have no idea how I managed, but I did.
