Trying to search words in a file of Libreoffice writer on terminal in CentOS 7

Hello

I am trying to see words in a file I created in LibreOffice Writer on the terminal in CentOS 7.

I try with cat command or less command, but it doesn't come out the way I wrote in the Libreoffice Writer. When I use less command, it said ""A file" may be a binary file. See it anyway?"

I want to search character in the files I created in the LibreOffice Writer.
How could I solve this problem?

Kind regards,

Usually an odt file (the standard format for Writer files) is a collection of XML files in a ZIP container. So the first thing I would try is to unzip the file and search for your text in the resulting files.

Thank you for your reply.
I understood that the an odt file is a collection of XML files in a ZIP container. I unzipped a odt file. It appeared several XML files. I still need to figure out which XML file is the one that I want to search, and how I can do that. Thanks anyway.
