Trouble importing QIF Files from Money to Gnucash

I'm running Fedora Core, and trying import some money files into Gnucash...i've exported them from Money as QIF files, and when i try to import them into Gnucash, i get a message about an "error while importing file"...it says my file works with a newer version of Gnucash, and i must upgrade, yet I can't find an upgrade for it anywhere...i'm using Gnucash version 1.8.8.

I'm not real awesome with linux just yet, so try to make a response as clear as possible.
