Trouble booting

i upgrade the kernel on Fedora Core1 and when i boot on either kernel, sendmail takes an extremely long time to start. how do i fix this?

your sendmail seems to be not configured properly. I f you are not using sendmail then disable it.
Else you should configure send mail.

No, you don't need sendmail to send mail if you are using an email client, like Fedora's default Evolution. You just set it up to send mail via your isp's mailserver.
