Thunderbird will not start


I am running mandrake 10.1. Today i installed mozilla thunderbird 1.0.6 rpm. when i click start icon, the hard disk light flickers but the program will not start.

i have tried starting it under a console as well and get this message:

I use fedora, but on my computer I just type

thunderbird

no start or anything else like that.

whether i type start or just 'thunderbird', the program wont start. today i changed permission of the .thunderbird/ in my home directory and got all of the output above, but this was what came out:

i dont know whats going on
