Suse Linux authentication server?

Hello all! I have a fresh install of Suse Linux running. I would like to have users login to the Linux box using ldap. I have samba configured and workin, as far as i know. I have a Suse 9.x client configured with the ldap client but can not login to the linux box. Can anyone help or point me to some help? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, i have been all over those links for 2 days now, no luck, well, i am seeing some progress but not much. Problem is, all of these directions and not 1 of them explains how to use yast2 to setup ldap server. There is an applet that is labeled "LDAP server" and 1 labeled "LDAP Client". Also, i get an error when trying to install OpenLdap2. It says "conflict with 4 other packages (novell edirectory stuff). So, i remove the conflicting packages and install openldap2. Then i go to the edirectory applet and it says, need openldap2 installed, wanna install it now? And so i say yes. It says it installs but if you go back to remove and install software from yast2, highlight authentication and openldap is now removed? Can anyone else offer any help?
