Unhappy SuSE 9.2 PDC login problem (SAMBA)

I've got Samba v3.0.9-2.1 running as a PDC on SuSE 9.2.
I have a SuSE 9.2 client trying to connect to the samba server.

The fallowing is my problem:

The client can join the domain with out any problems. When I login with a domain user it logs on just fine then xdm gives me a error "xsession: Login for DOMAIN\USER_NAME is disabled" and kicks be back to the login screen. If I try to logon from a terminal it logs me on then logs me off be for I get the the prompt.

I've looked and looked but every think I try the people have posted dose not work.

Any help would be grate.

Thanks,

Post your smb.conf file from both server-and-client side. Is the client using smb to connect to server?

Securehack - I'm using Suse 9.2 as client and Windows 2000 domain. Figured out my problem. I was missing a shell statement in the smb.conf file. I added "template shell =/bin/bash" and now I can log in at a console and KDE.

Thanks for the response though.
