Suse 10.2 - Firefox Offline Mode

Hello,

I've just installed Suse 10.2 from DVD and updated anything available. I've also added a few "standard" repositories.

All of a sudden Firefox started opening in offline mode by default. I've tried changing my ~/.mozilla/firefox/{profile}/prefs.js -> browser.offline directive as well. I've searched the forums here and did find a few other threads with similar questions, but I've yet to find an answer. Here's what I've found already:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...irefox+offline
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...irefox+offline
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...irefox+offline

Any ideas or suggestions would help.

Thanks,
~Justin

Hmmmmmmm, I don't have that problem... Don't know what we could compare to maybe see what's gone wrong on your side.
Then again I retained /home (didn't format this separate partition)from my previous 10.1 Install.

It helps by a) pointing out that there is a problem exclusive to your system, and hence after I offered to help in identifying what different element on your system is causing the fault... but I guess you don't my help, so don't worry, I wont give it to you.

My point is a) just because it doesn't happen to your computer doesn't mean it is exclusive to my system; I don't suppose you've encountered every bug known to your operating system; that is quite a hasty statement and b) what different element are you referring to? If I've overlooked something in your post I apologize, but I just didn't seem to find anything helpful.

If I didn't need anybody's help I wouldn't have posted the thread to start with. All I got from your post was that you "don't know what we could compare to," which leaves me where I am currently.

Anybody else?

~Justin
