sub-sqldrivers errors emerging qt | gentoo 2004.1

Hi,
I have installed mysql-4.0.18-r2 which compiled and installed fine and now when I go to install qt-3.3.2 I get the following errors
Code:
make[1]: *** [sub-sqldrivers] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/var/tmp/portage/qt-3.3.2/work/qt-x11-free-3.3.3/plugins/src'
make: *** [sub-plugins] Error 2

!!! ERROR: x11-libs/qt-3.3.2 failed
!!! Function src_compile, Line 94, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

I ending up getting around this by simply commenting out the USE flags in my /etc/make.conf
