Starting KDE

Is there a way of starting KDE after a 'sarge'
"apt-get install kde"?

Use apt-get install kdm it usually gets left out for some reason. If asked during configuration say yes/choose kdm as the default display manager. Once installed if still at the command line use /etc/init.d/kdm start if it says it is already running use the CTRL + ALT + F7 keys at the same time to go the display manager so you can login.
