Starting Enlightenment

I just emerged Enlightenment on Gentoo. I've read that, in order to start Enlightenment, I need to add the line
Code:
exec /usr/local/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment
to my /etc/X11/init/xinitrc (since I don't have a .xinitrc).

The problem is that /usr/local/enlightenment does not exist. How can I remedy this?

Figure out where the 'enlightenment' program actually did get installed, and use that path instead.

You probably could just get away with putting "exec enlightenment" into a newly-created .xinitrc (it will just override /etc/X11/init/xinitrc if you create it).

Ok, I believe I found the file: /etc/X11/Sessions/enlightenment

Sounds unlikely... I'd expect it to be in one of these places:
  • /usr/bin
  • /usr/X11R6/bin
  • /usr/local/bin
