Starting Enlightenment...

I'm a Slack user, but now for some reason I'm using Fedora Core 3.
I'm a regular user of KDE & GNOME simultaneously.
Anyway, I downloaded "enlightenment-0.16.7.2" and "imlib2-src-1.2.0",
and compiled both and installed perfectly but two problem is there.

1. I can't find Enlightenment on the GDM session selection,
2. When I go for a manual startx like
Code:
startx /usr/local/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment
it doesn't start - says libimlib2.so.1 can't be found while I can find this file on the correct place.

Help me please!

Well, you could make sure that imlib2 (libimlib2.so.1 is a file it includes) is installed, and if not try manually installing it...

EDIT: oops, I'm sorry. I misread your post. I think you may need to make a symbolic link somewhere...

I looked on google a little and it seems that a common problem is for there to be a different version of libimlib2.so, are you sure that it's libimlib2.so.1 and not some other version in your libraries?
