Stamp/Watermark PDFs

I need to add images to a pdf. I am using pdfTK and it works GREAT!! One problem, I can't control where the image goes. Using stamp or watermark, it places the image in the center and I need it to be moved down some.

Does anyone know of a better way to do what I need to do? I am also filling out some text fields in the pdf as I go. . .

a cheap hack would be to create a image that is as big as the pdf page , and add the watermark you want at the place you want in it. then use pdftk to add this new image ...

pdftk in.pdf background back.pdf output out.pdf

the back.pdf can be easily created in gimp ... or you could just do a print command on the image and save it as a image

creating a larger image still doesn't really help as I need to automate this and always position the watermark/stamp towards the bottom. . . there is a ton of software out there to do this manually, but I can't find one way to do this from the command line . . .
