SNMP monitoring of CISCO gear w/ Nagios
I am trying to monitor 3G RSSI using snmp of Cisco 1841 router using CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB and nagios.I tried to confiure nagios as
define service{
use generic-service
host_name store0720
service_description SNMP-RSSI
check_command check_snmp!-C public -o c3gCurrentEvDoRssi -m CISCO-WAN-3G-MIB
}
I get the error message External command error:Error in packet
which means “There is no such variable name in this MIB”
What this means ,how to proceed further,of do i have to configure anything on Nagios.
