Slow CIFS share due to lots of QUERY_PATH_INFO packets

Hi all,

I am experiencing slow performance when navigating CIFS mounted share. I did some investigaton and found that there are lots of QUERY_PATH_INFO requests sent by the client. There is such query and response sent for every single file . As the share is placed on a remote server connected via WAN (response time cca 40ms) every ls command takes terribly long. Is it possible take same configuration changes, so that QUERY_PATH_INFO requests are sent together in one packet?

Thanks for helping
