Hi all

I've installed slackware 9.1 on my laptop and work fine, but i would install truetype font on gnome 2.4.

I've tryed to install them with this procedure but gnome don't recognize MS fonts:

My XF86config

i've used this command

# mkdir -m 755 /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/truetype

# ttmkfdir 2>/dev/null 1>fonts.scale

# mkfontdir -e /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/encodings

:-( don't work

for the ms fonts
i downloaded a spec file and the cab extract utility, the spec file when run, created the binary
files, downloaded the .exe for each ms font, extracted them and then built an rpm

the ms fonts make a LARGE difference to the way Mandrake/the internet looks
