Signal strength not showing

Im using Wifi-Radar to manage my wireless networks. However, I can't view the signal strength of my school's network. Wifi-Radar is pretty much a gui for the wireless tools. Are there some variables I might need to set for this network? I can see the signal strength of my home network.

Are you sure it is monitoring the right device? i know the network monitor pallet on gnome monitors lo by default so you have to tell it to monitor your wireless card and then it starts showing th signal strength

Yes its monitoring the correct device. It can detect my home network signal strength, but not my school. Does it have something to do with the channel?
