Not understanding the problem. If you are natted behind a gateway, ktorrent should still 'just work' as long as internet connectivity is present.

Can you explain your trouble more clearly?

ktorrent doesnt work

Sorry for the confusion.

The problem is ktorrent is not working.
I get internet through a server machine. and for getting that i have to configure the proxy settings in the browser.

So i thought i will have to configure the proxy in ktorrent also.

While i use the serch tab in ktorrent it says..
Unknown host www.mininova.org

my internet is working proerly. and no sites are blocked on the server..

can you explain me what exactly is the problem...
