setting default volume for mplayer

Dear all,

Do any of you know how to set the default volume for mplayer using the config
file? I don't want to change the hardware volume but the volume of the specific audio or video !!

Thanks,

this should give you an Idea how to setup your mplayer config file.
System key bindings are configured via /etc/mplayer/input.conf. Personal key bindings are stored in ~/.mplayer/input.conf
