Today, Evolution Mail just up and started going haywire on me. Every time I tell it to send and receive my mail, the usual window pops up. All of a sudden, the program closes out without doing anything.

Could it be the way I have it handling my mail? I have it set up correctly as far as the POP and SMTP goes. I also have it set up to ask me for my password every time I send and receive mail. Could this be the problem, or should I try re-installing it?

I just found out that this problem only occurs when I press the Send/Receive button or access it from the File menu. When I press F9 on the keyboard, however, it doesn't. Sorry for wasting time and space.

Try launching evolution from a shell, and see if there's any messages when it closes.
