segmentation fault

Hi,

I have installed fedora core 5 and it seems find after installation. However, I got segmentation fault upon running yum command. Is there a way how I could fix this?

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks...

Sounds like it might be a corrupt binary somewhere or a bug of some sort in yum. I've never experienced such a thing so I lean toward option 1. Maybe try reinstalling the yum package by hand from RPM (I think you'll need to usr --force to get it to install over the existing package but that should be harmless)?

This assumes other programs are behaving normally. If a lot of other stuff is segfaulting it generally points to flaky hardware or possibly some sort of filesystem corruption.
