Hi,
I am having some difficulties setting up scim for Qt applications on Debian Testing (lenny) 64-bit. I got it to work many times before in 32-bit environments but this is the first time I go for 64-bit. I was wondering if anyone has successfully set up scim in a similar situation, and what did they do to make it work? My current configurations (excerpt of output of export):
Code:
declare -x XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
declare -x QT_IM_MODULE="scim" #also tried QT_IM_MODULE=xim
declare -x GTK_IM_MODULE="scim"
output of locale:
Code:
LANG=en_CA.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_CA.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=
Currently, scim only works in GTK programs (not Qt or pure X programs).
Thank you very much
