Sawfish Menu error

hi - im tryin to switch to sawfish...but ...
when i click on the window properties button, and select "Frame type - None" or any other change to the type, and apply it, it works fine.
Now if i try to do the same to any other window, i get this msg -
"$ Error: Menu already active";
and it hangs.

anyone had this problem?
