OpenBox menu.xml error

I Just switched to OpenBox and am loving it.
However for some reason I returned to my PC after a while and it had frozen.
After restarting I logged back into my openbox session via GDM, and all my customized menus had..
GOOONE!
Funnily enough my menu.xml and rc.xml files are all correct and in the right location ie
' $HOME/.config/openbox/ '

What do you guys think may be wrong?

soo lame

Yeah..
Didnt check my .xsession-errors file.
I was missing a " in menu.xml, so it just parsed the default one
Let this be a lesson
