Running Mozilla as root, crazy error?

I can run Mozilla just fine as any user except root. Running it from the console as root produces this:

INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: No manager for initializing factory?

System error?:: Success

I have no idea on this.. Also, this is in the wake of installing (thanks to a LQ member's advice) blackdown's version of jre.

Is there any reason you need mozilla as root? If not, DON'T! Running software as root is a security risk.
