RTCW:ET not connecting to servers

I can't connect to servers on Enemy Territory and get a message to shell that reads.

NET_SendPacket ERROR: Operation not permitted to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:27961

With "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" being the ip I'm connecting to. Is this due to my firewall or something else and does anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the "Linux - Games" forum and posted this in the wrong place :/

Edit 2: Yeah.. It was the firewall.. Found out how to disable it and now it works :P Now I only have to learn how to get it to work with the firewall on...
