servers exhausted when connecting to irc server using BitchX


hello!
i tried to connect to irc.freenode.net via bitchX...i am new to irc ....every few minutes i get this msg as " servers exausted. restarting"....i am not even sure if i am connected to the server. how do i make out whether i am connected to the server?

I think this means that it has tried to connect to all of the servers in the list, but it is unable to connect. It maybe an issue related to this (http://www.ale.org/archive/ale/ale-1.../msg00000.html) so I recommend you try another IRC client...
