rpmbuild -bb error: does not appear to be a specfile.

rpmbuild -bb ./ElectricFence-2.2.2-19.src.rpm

error: File ./ElectricFence-2.2.2-19.src.rpm does not appear to be a specfile.

When I try to build a src.rpm I get the above error. Anyone have any ideas?

I was able to solve my own problem.

I changed options with the rpmbuild command
"rpm --rebuild ElectricFence-2.2.2-19.src.rpm" and thing went smoothly.

On what distro was this because I am sure on those distros using RPM 4.x (almost every new rpm based distro), the right way would be
Code:
#rpmbuild --rebuild filename.src.rpm
