Question RH 7 & Win2000 Dual Boot

I am trying to dual boot Red Hat 7.0 and Windows 2000 on a new Dell Latitude Notebook using Bootmagic 6. The Win2000 works fine and the Linux boots fine until it gets it starts checking for new hardware. It then gives the error: In interrupt handler not synching and goes no further. Please help!

it is probably trying to detect some hardware, like pcmcia..

I'd go for rh7.3 (7.0<>good distro)

Thanks, I guess I'll have to try that if there are no other suggestions.

It's probably kudzu that's causing the problem. Go here and then scroll down to " Upgrading to RedHat 6.2 ". It tells you how to turn off kudzu.

if you're familiar with rh you can try to recompile kernel.
But the fastest way is to go for clean rh7.3

Thanks people . I tried what you said linnuxcool and the machine boots to the shell propmt without any problems. I have to agree though that I will have less headaches if I go to RH 7.3 so I'll try to get it. Thanks for all the help everybody.
